¹     It was a nice day. Robin was playing in the front yard. Her mother called for her. She ran up the steps. She fell on a bike that was sitting there.
 
²     "Ow!" Robin screamed.
 
³     "What's wrong?" Robin's mother yelled.
 
⁴     "Oh, dear!" Her mother said. "I see what's wrong." Robin had a huge cut on her chin.
 
⁵     "I'm bleeding," Robin said.
 
⁶     "Let's clean it up," her mom said. They went inside. She put pressure on Robin's cut.
 
⁷     "Please put a Band-Aid on, Mommy," Robin said.
 
⁸     "I can't," Mom said.
 
⁹     "Why not?" Robin asked.
 
¹⁰     "The cut is too deep," her mom said.
 
¹¹     "I've had cuts before. I want a Band-Aid!" Robin yelled. She started to cry.
